- If you have lost your job, contact the Dubuque office of Iowa Workforce Development for help in filing for unemployment.
- The City of Dubuque lists job openings on their website. This is also where you can find job openings for Carnegie-Stout Public Library.
- The County of Dubuque and the State of Iowa both list job openings on www.governmentjobs.com.
- You can find local job listings with Dubuque area companies and employment agencies on Access Dubuque. Access Dubuque is a partnership between the Telegraph Herald and the Greater Dubuque Development Corporation.

- Future Ready Iowa offers a Resume Builder. Type your information into the website and it will help you build your resume.
- Carnegie-Stout Public Library has books and other items that can be borrowed with your library card to help you with your resume or cover letter. Library staff at the public computers on the second floor can also help you access Microsoft Office, email, or answer other technical questions.

- Brainfuse has interview tips and advice. You can also meet with a live, online coach to prepare for a job interview every day from 1:00-10:00 p.m. Library card required.
