The Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation supports and enriches the Library through private fundraising and advocates for the Library as our community’s greatest resource for individual enjoyment, enlightenment, and knowledge.
We envision the Carnegie-Stout Public Library as the heart of our community and a gateway for expanding horizons through leading edge access to information, entertainment, learning, and innovation for all.
The Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization, established in 1987. Currently, the Foundation is an all-volunteer organization with a Board of Directors committed to the belief that great communities deserve great libraries.
The Foundation Board of Directors disperses money raised through donations, grants, and bequests. The Board is guided by the principle that Foundation funds are intended to supplement, but not replace, public funding for the normal operating needs of the Library.
