The Friends of the Carnegie-Stout Public Library are sponsoring Zinio, a new digital magazine service. Full service library card holders now can read magazines on their computer, tablet or smart phone. Zinio’s unique technology digitally recreates a magazine page for page, including full color pictures, advertisements, intuitive navigation, key word article search and interactive elements such as audio and video. The service requires a valid library card and email address.
Carnegie-Stout Public Library is partnering with the James Kennedy Library in Dyersville to provide unlimited simultaneous access to over 80 complete digital magazines, easily viewed on any Internet-enabled device. Consumer Reports, US Weekly, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, Food Network Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, National Geographic Interactive, O: The Oprah Magazine and Rolling Stone are just a few of the popular titles available.
For more information about how to sign up for Zinio, please call the Carnegie-Stout Public Library at 563-589-4225 and ask for the Reference Desk, or visit the Library’s website, www.dubuque.lib.ia.us.
