November 12, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ The Aigler Auditorium (3rd Floor)
Carnegie-Stout Public Library’s bi-monthly book discussion group for adults will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Aigler Auditorium on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 where the book The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern will be discussed. The circus arrives without warning. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. It is called Le Cirque des Reves, and it is only open at night. But behind the scenes, a fierce competition is underway, a duel between two young magicians, Celia and Marco, who have been trained since childhood expressly for this purpose by their mercurial instructors. Unbeknownst to them, this is a game in which only one can be left standing, and the circus is but the stage for a remarkable battle of imagination and will. Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk. The public is cordially invited to attend. For more information, please call the Carnegie-Stout Public Library at 563-589-4225, or visit the Library’s website, www.dubuque.lib.ia.us.
