HOW TO ENTER
Stop by the Maker Space to pick up and Entry Form and candle. Click Here for official rules. Submit the photo of your carved pumpkin to the Maker Space email, firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then display your photo on the Maker Space big screen TV and on our website.
Library Patrons, friends and family can cast their vote on the Carnegie-Stout Public Library website or in person at the Maker Space for the best carved pumpkin in each category. First and second place winners in each category will receive a 3D printed Halloween design.
Maker Space Mini-Challenges are always available to test your imagination. Choose from the following Mini-Challenges:
Can you identify the 50 states and their capitals? Extra credit for matching the state flags!
Learn to program a Raspberry Pi and create a digital photo frame or weather station.
Make 3D shapes using straws!
Assemble houses, ice cream cones, pizzas and more!
Learn about electricity and create simple to complex circuits with Snap Circuts.
Make a butterfly, simple note card, airplane or a shirt.
Form a specific shape using all seven shape pieces - it’s not as easy as it looks!
