Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation

Our Mission The Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation supports and enriches the library through private fundraising and advocates for the library as our community’s greatest resource for individual enjoyment, enlightenment, and knowledge.

Our Vision The Library Foundation envisions the Carnegie-Stout Public Library as the heart of the Dubuque community and a gateway for expanding horizons through leading-edge access to information, entertainment, learning, and innovation for all.

Our History The Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization established in 1996 to promote reading and life-long learning. It is an all-volunteer organization with a Board of Directors committed to the belief that great communities deserve great libraries. C-SPL Funded Projects, 2002-2020

Our Commitment The Library Foundation Board of Directors raises funds through donations, grants and bequests, which are distributed to the library for specific projects. The Board is guided by the principle that foundation funds are intended to supplement, but not replace, public funding for the normal operating needs of the library.
