February 7
Doctor Who fans, allons-y! The Dubuque TARDIS will be making an appearance at Carnegie-Stout Public Library on Saturday, February 7th. The TARDIS will be available for viewing and photographs in the 2nd floor rotunda area from Noon until 5 p.m. The life-size TARDIS is the creation of local fans Mark Dierker and Paul Meyer, who are also known as Whovians. The TARDIS made its first appearance in May of 2014, has been featured on Iowa Public Television and has traveled nationally. This is the TARDIS’s second visit to Carnegie-Stout Public Library, which has been certified Dr. Who Friendly, or as Whovians would put it – Vashta Nerada free.
